These terms govern your use of Remi, an AI workspace platform operated by Remi AI Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these terms. If you are using Remi on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.
Remi provides a team AI workspace where your users can:
You own your data. Documents you upload, messages you send, facts you store, and any other content you put into Remi remains yours.
Your database, file storage, and vector database infrastructure is hosted exclusively in the EU. When prompts are sent to AI providers for response generation, data may be processed on US-based servers. This is the only circumstance in which your data leaves the EU. See our Privacy Policy for a full breakdown.
When you send a message, Remi may route your prompt and relevant document context to third-party AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google) via OpenRouter. These providers generate a response and do not retain your data for training.
When you upload a document, we extract text and create vector embeddings (mathematical representations) stored in our vector database. This allows the AI to search and cite your documents. The original file is stored in encrypted object storage.

Remi uses large language models to generate responses.
We may update these terms. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-platform notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
