Data sources
Remi checks the register before it answers
Remi looks things up in 26 public sources as it works, from Companies House and UK legislation to VAT checks, postcodes and official statistics. Every answer names the source it used, so anyone can open it and check.
Is Bramblewick Joinery Ltd still trading, and who runs it?
Yes. Bramblewick Joinery Ltd is active and was incorporated in March 2014.1
It has two directors, Ana Duarte and Rob Hale. Ana Duarte is also a director of one other company.1
Its last accounts were filed on 12 June, and the next are due by 31 March.1
1 sourceNobody copies from the register
Figures go straight from the source into the answer, the table or the letter, so nothing is retyped and nothing goes stale in a spreadsheet.
Every answer shows its working
Each fact carries the source it came from. Open it and you see the entry the answer was built from.
Checked when you ask
Remi looks the record up at the moment you ask, so a director who resigned last week has already gone from the answer.

Ask the way you'd ask a colleague
- 1You ask in your own wordsThere's no source to pick and nothing to set up. Ask about the client, the address or the figure, and Remi works out where to look.
- 2Remi looks it upIt reads the register, the statute or the dataset at that moment, and can join several together, such as a list of postcodes and the councils they sit in.
- 3The answer cites itEach fact links to its source. The same figures can fill a table in Data Studio or go into a letter in the Writing Studio.
Need a source we don't have?
Tell us the register or feed your work depends on. If it publishes its data, we can usually add it, and on bigger plans we add sources for your workspace alone.
Questions people ask
How current is the data?
How do I check an answer?
What does the source see?
Can it fill a table?
- How current is the data?
- As current as the source. Remi looks the record up when you ask, rather than relying on what a model learnt in training. Exchange rates are the European Central Bank's daily rate, published once each working day.
- How do I check an answer?
- Every fact Remi takes from a source carries a citation. Open it to see which source was used and what it returned.
- What does the source see?
- Only what the lookup needs, such as a company name, a postcode or a VAT number. Your documents and chats stay in your workspace, which lives in the EU.
- Can it fill a table?
- Yes. Ask Remi to check every company on a list for its status and directors, and Data Studio keeps the results as rows you can sort, filter and share.
